8 Week
Pre-Teen Neurodivergent Girls Support Group in Los Angeles
The Pre-Teen Neurodivergent Girls Support Group is an 8-week social skills group offering a welcoming space for autistic girls and girls with ADHD to build social connections, share experiences, celebrate their strengths, and support one another in navigating challenges. Designed for neurodivergent teens in the LA area, this group blends creative activities with peer connection in a supportive, structured setting.
Each session combines creative, hands-on activities—like baking, art, and games—with facilitated discussion that helps participants develop confidence, build emotional awareness, and form supportive peer relationships.
Format
Each session opens with a check-in—highlight of the week, lowlight of the week, and an icebreaker question—before moving into a topic related to neurodivergence (e.g., masking, special interests, or emotional sensitivity to rejection). Topics may be introduced through short videos, discussion, or activities like the Neurodivergent Strength Cards, where participants share which strengths resonate with them. The second half of each session shifts to creative expression through art, storytelling, charades, or baking.
