The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) is one of the most widely used standardized tools for evaluating and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder across ages, developmental levels, and language abilities. Our three-day autism assessment training provides foundational skills in administering and scoring ADOS-2 Modules 1–4 and the Toddler Module — equipping clinicians and professionals to use this assessment with greater confidence and accuracy.
Training is conducted virtually via live instruction, video demonstrations, and guided scoring practice. CE credits pending.

What You'll Learn
This three-day training covers the full ADOS-2 across all modules through a structured blend of lecture, video-based demonstration, independent scoring, and group discussion.
Day 1 — Modules 3 & 4 Introduction to the ADOS-2, overview of Modules 3 and 4, video demonstration of Module 3, independent scoring, and coding discussion.
Day 2 — Modules 1 & 2 Introduction to Module 1, video demonstration, independent scoring, Module 2 overview, and ADOS-2 psychometrics and clinical application.
Day 3 — Toddler Module Introduction to the Toddler Module, video demonstration, independent scoring, and toddler-specific psychometrics and clinical use.

Dr. Nurit Benrey, PhD (August 2026) Dr. Nurit Benrey is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disabilities. She works with clients across the lifespan and has trained with leading experts in the field nationwide. In addition to her assessment expertise, Dr. Benrey provides neuroaffirming treatment including PCIT, modified CBT, and ERP for anxiety and OCD in autistic children and adults. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is a certified ADOS-2 trainer in both languages.

Dr. Maira Tafolla, PhD (April 2027) Dr. Maira Tafolla is a postdoctoral scholar at UCSF specializing in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disabilities. She earned her PhD in Human Development and Psychology from UCLA in 2025. In addition to her assessment expertise, Dr. Tafolla is trained in a range of evidence-based interventions including naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions, CBT, DBT, and ACT. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is a certified ADOS-2 trainer in both languages.
