In addition to her assessment expertise, Dr. Benrey provides neuroaffirming treatment including PCIT, modified CBT, and ERP for anxiety and OCD in autistic children and adults. Dr. Maira Tafolla, PhD (April 2027) Dr. Maira Tafolla is a postdoctoral scholar at UCSF specializing in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disabilities. She earned her PhD in Human Development and Psychology from UCLA in 2025. In addition to her assessment expertise, Dr. Tafolla is trained in a range of evidence-based interventions including naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions, CBT, DBT, and ACT. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is a certified ADOS-2 trainer in both languages.
