Neila Wolff, LMFT | Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
.Neila Wolff, MA, MAEd, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California with over 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families. Her clinical background is broad and diverse, with expertise in working with neurodivergent school-aged children and their caregivers. Neila has provided individual and group therapy across a variety of settings, including schools, social service agencies, and pediatric telehealth clinics. She also trained at The Help Group, where she served as a clinician at one of their nonpublic schools. In addition to her work at Spectrum Psych LA, she currently serves as a clinician at the UCLA Parenting and Friendship Clinic within the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
Neila specializes in supporting children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) who present with a wide range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning differences, and mood and anxiety disorders. She is deeply committed to helping families navigate educational and community systems—such as the Regional Center and school-based supports—to ensure access to appropriate services and resources.
As a child therapist, Neila brings a warm, attuned, and developmentally sensitive approach to therapy. She meets each child where they are, builds trust through curiosity and respect, and uses shared language to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences. In her work, Neila helps children identify stressors, integrate coping strategies into daily life, and strengthen frustration tolerance. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based interventions (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), empathy, collaboration, and a deep belief in every child’s capacity for growth, resilience, and connection. Neila also has extensive experience providing parent training and collaborating with caregivers to foster a more peaceful home environment through evidence-based parenting practices.
Neila holds master’s degrees in both Clinical Psychology and Education. Before transitioning to clinical practice, she served as Assistant Director of Global Education at a Los Angeles high school, where she taught and traveled internationally with students. A Los Angeles native, Neila earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new playgrounds with her husband and son and spending time with family and friends.
