Mineh Badmagharian, OTD, OTR/L | Licensed Occupational Therapist

Dr. Mineh Badmagharian is a licensed occupational therapist who integrates art, creativity, and meaningful occupations into her clinical practice. She has worked with children and adults across pediatric, mental health, and rehabilitation settings. She helps clients build coping skills, manage emotions and pain, increase independence, and participate more fully in daily life.

Dr. Badmagharian believes that effective occupational therapy begins with understanding the person behind the diagnosis. Her approach is deeply personal and relationship-centered, with interventions tailored to each individual’s needs, interests, strengths, and ways of expressing themselves. She uses occupation-based and art-based activities to support emotional regulation, self-expression, functional skills, social participation, and community reintegration.

In addition to her direct clinical work, Dr. Badmagharian led the clinical development of a socially assistive robot called Robin, now used across more than 40 pediatric and geriatric care settings. She incorporated occupational therapy principles into structured activities and session protocols designed to support emotional regulation, cognitive engagement, and social participation.
