Abigail Baughman, BS | Doctoral Occupational Therapy Student
Abigail Baughman is a doctoral occupational therapy student from the University of Missouri, passionate about supporting children and families in pediatric settings. She has completed fieldwork in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), school-based settings, and at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, gaining experience in holistic, family-centered care. Abigail’s professional experience includes work as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. Additionally, she has worked as a direct caregiver for a child with autism and a child recovering from a pediatric stroke, strengthening her understanding of individualized care and how to support each child's unique needs. Through these experiences, she has gained insight into supporting children's emotional regulation and overall mental health and wellbeing. Abigail is committed to empowering children and families through evidence-based practice and compassionate care.
